“ Great place all around! Outdoor seating on a creek! Near Brasstown Waterfall. The friendliest staff, best cooks and the most considerate owner of any restaurant Ive been to. Take cash or check with you. Cards are not accepted. Its off the beaten path and well worth visiting if traveling between Westminster SC and Clayton GA off Long Creek rd. Thank yall very much. My only 5 star ever I do believe. Cant wait to go back! ”
“ Great BBQ place off the beaten path. Large parking lot mostly filled up as we got there right before the opened. Entrance is on the end of the building. There was a smell of hickory in the air when we got out of the car. You enter and join the line to order. Through glass you watch the whole process as orders ar taken, assembled and delivered. From there to a gathering room with tables to sit at. Portions are massive and the sauces taste great. BBQ beans were a three bean meadly. A half rack of ribs was more than enough with the two sides. My desert was strawberry cake with coconut and pecans. Wonderful way to end a meal ”
“ I cant give enough stars to this wonderful place!! I wanted for years to come here because I did not live far from it. My friend Randy kept telling me I gotta go so I made no more excuses he picked me up and we had the best time!! Food is OUTSTANDING and the staff is OUTSTANDING always someone coming to serve us ask us if there is anything we need!! The location in those mountains is so beautiful and to sit outside by the creek and relax after you had a great meal is the best! So many places to sit outside or on the back covered porch and kids out playing seeing families having fun is fantastic!! The food portions are huge. The owner will fill your plate to NOT leave hungry!! The next best part is the homemade cakes and pies!! Oh you will have to make room for the sweets!! Randy suggested strawberry cake!! I was impressed how big the slice you get and the fresh ingredients made!! Please dont put off coming here!! The drive is so worth it! No BBQ place I have ever been to gives you this much food fun service and quality environment to enjoy. The staff put love and care into their food and serving you!! God Bless all of you here and we will see you again this weekend!! ”

“ Myself and a couple other guys stopped in for dinner on a overnight bike packing trip. The food was incredible and the staff pretty much spoiled us with their kindness and hospitality. I had the chopped pork plater and my friends the bbq chicken. Also the variety of bbq sauces were unique and tasty. Bring cash or a check as they do not accept cards. ”
“ Came here looking for Silas Butts grave and his old homestead. What a wonderful man he was along with his wife. He died in 1956 his wife in 1958. I ate at this place. Never found Silas old home but I had some lovely food here. ”
“ I love barbecue but I cant afford it for A large family. This place gives you enough food to feed a large family five times. Take cash, Buy the family pack and take it home with you. Brisket, chopped barbecue or pulled, barbecue chicken, ribs and two sides. the people are even better than the food. The place is in the middle of nowhere but it has an unbelievably beautiful location with a creek running behind it so let your kids play or eat at tables underneath trees or underneath outdoor porch. Did I mention staff? ”
